The audiovisual technology has made familiar terms such as 2D or 3D. But does it make sense to talk about 4D , that is a fourth dimension? As in the novel Flatland , in which a square discovers the third dimension , the talk is based on the idea of imagining higher dimensions from the lower ones. How can a 2D being think a 3D world ? And then , similarly, how can we, 3D beings, imagine the fourth spatial dimension ?
